The other person reads you a short support code and confirms the session visibly on their own device. They can end it at any time.
What you can do with it
- The other person opens DeskRanger and reads you a nine-digit code.
- Before it starts, the other person sees who wants access and what is allowed: screen, control, files, clipboard.
- A clear warning protects against scammers posing as a bank or support.

How long is a support code valid?
Ten minutes. After that, the other person simply creates a new one.
Can I help if the other person has an iPhone?
Yes, to watch: the iPhone or iPad shares its screen via a support code. iOS does not allow remote control.
